The editor felt it might be unwise to hold up the publication further, as a third melanoma was diagnosed in October 2015, and three operations in October and November failed to eliminate the danger, and for the first time since the initial melanoma in December 1999, which I survived owing to the skill of the surgeon and the devoted care of the hospital staff over the following months, the possibility that the battle may finally be lost has to be faced, though a further surgical operation is planned for late January in an effort to remedy the situation.

Note du Blogger : As of today, May 31st., 2016 James is still hospitalized for a new treatment that should last approximately 5 weeks.
